Application Configuration Interface
What is Application Configuration Interface?
A dedicated space within the Upstream Works Administration Module to manage, deploy and upgrade Upstream Works custom configurations. It gives administrators one place to control how custom configurations are rolled out and kept up to date.
Contact center desktops are often tailored to each organization through custom configurations such as layouts, workflows, integrations and business rules. Managing these by hand across environments can be slow and error-prone. An application configuration interface brings that work into the administration module, so administrators can manage configurations, deploy them and apply upgrades from one dedicated space rather than through separate tools or manual changes.
For a contact center buyer, the practical benefits are control and consistency. Administrators can see which configurations exist, deploy them in a managed way and keep them current when the underlying software is upgraded. This lowers the risk of agents working on mismatched setups and shortens the time needed to roll out changes. The application configuration interface belongs to legacy Upstream Works administration tooling; for the current platform, see Totalix.
