How do you deploy a contact center without a migration project?
You avoid a migration project by adding the contact center to the platform and applications you already run instead of replacing them: keep your routing, keep your CRM, and bring the agent workspace, channels and AI to where people already work. Totalix is built this way, with a cloud tenant created inside your business application rather than a cut-over.
The usual routes compared
| Route | What you replace | What you keep | Cut-over |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rip and replace | The whole platform: routing, desktop, reporting | Little; flows and integrations are rebuilt | Big-bang or phased; a dual-running period to keep short |
| Staged migration | One capability at a time (voice and routing, then digital, then workforce tools) | The old platform until each stage moves | Several smaller cut-overs |
| Coexist, then displace | Nothing at first: the new platform runs beside the old one | Routing, CRM and integrations | No cut-over; interaction classes move when ready |
| Add to what you run | Nothing: the workspace, channels and AI go inside your platform or CRM | Cisco or Amazon Connect routing; Salesforce, Dynamics 365 or ServiceNow | None; a tenant is created inside the application |

When it fits
Your routing works, your CRM is the system of record, and the problem is the agent experience, the channels or the lack of AI.
When it doesn’t
The underlying platform itself is end of life or you are consolidating several contact centers onto one new stack; then Totalix Complete, which needs no underlying platform, is the comparison to make.
How Totalix does it
Totalix for Cisco runs inside Cisco Finesse (UCCE, PCCE and WCCE) and Webex Contact Center, and Totalix Embedded runs inside Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, ServiceNow, Zoho, HubSpot, Halo, Zendesk, Pega, Epic, SAP, Jack Henry or a custom application, both from 1 December 2026; Totalix for Amazon Connect follows in January 2027. On SaaS, a new tenant is created on the Upstream Works cloud and is live in minutes. Every edition runs on SaaS, Dedicated Hosted, Partner Hosted or, from January 2027, On-Premise, all on the same code base, so you can move between them later without re-implementing.

Questions buyers ask
Can I modernize my contact center without replacing my existing platform?
Yes. Totalix is built to work this way: it adds the workspace, channels and AI on top of Cisco or Amazon Connect routing, or inside your CRM, with the platform you have staying in charge.
What about our integrations and business rules?
They stay. Totalix for Cisco keeps Cisco routing, business rules and integrations in place; Totalix Embedded uses screen pop, click-to-dial and real-time data exchange with your CRM record.
Do we have to choose a deployment model up front?
Choose any of the four; all run the same code base, so moving between them later is a migration, not a rebuild.
What if we do want to replace the platform?
Totalix Complete is end-to-end CCaaS with no underlying platform required, and the Coexist, Displace, Replace path lets you move interaction classes over gradually.
When can we start?
Early adopters from November 2026; general availability 1 December 2026. Waitlist members get a 45-day free trial tenant from 1 December; all waitlist applications are subject to acceptance by Upstream Works.
