Totalix™ · Deployment
Four ways to run it. One platform.
Deployment is a choice you make on every Totalix edition, not a separate product. Pick the model that matches your regulatory, regional and operating realities — and change it later without re-implementing.
How can Totalix be deployed?
In four ways, on every edition: SaaS on the Upstream Works multi-tenant cloud, live in minutes and updated continuously with zero downtime; Dedicated Hosted, the same platform on a single-tenant instance operated by Upstream Works; Partner Hosted, delivered and operated by an Upstream Works partner with their complementary services around it; and On-Premise, the full platform in your own data center or private cloud, from January 2027. All four run the same code base, so you can move between them later.
SaaS
Multi-tenant on the Upstream Works cloud. Live in minutes, always current.
The fastest way to run Totalix. Your tenant is created on the Upstream Works multi-tenant cloud and is live in minutes, with GDPR and WCAG compliance built in.
Updates are continuous: a structured major release every quarter and micro-releases in between, applied for you with zero downtime. There are no upgrade projects, no maintenance windows to plan and no version to fall behind on.
Best for: most organizations — the quickest start, the lowest operating overhead and a platform that never needs upgrading.
Dedicated Hosted
Your own single-tenant instance, hosted and operated by Upstream Works.
Everything SaaS offers — the same code base, the same quarterly release cadence, the same zero-downtime updates — on a dedicated instance that serves only your organization.
Your data, configuration and compute are isolated from every other customer, and the instance can be placed to meet data-residency commitments, while Upstream Works still carries the operating burden.
Best for: government, healthcare, financial services and other highly regulated industries — and any organization whose security or residency policy requires single-tenant isolation.
Partner Hosted
Delivered and operated by an Upstream Works partner, with their complementary services around it.
The same Totalix platform and release cadence as SaaS, hosted in the cloud of the Upstream Works partner who delivers it — so the partner can wrap it with the services only they can add: telephony and carrier services, systems integration, managed service, local-language support and regional compliance.
One accountable partner for the whole stack, and a single contract and support path for the services that sit around the platform.
Best for: organizations that want one partner accountable for the platform and everything around it, or that already run their contact center through a managed-service partner.
On-PremiseJan 2027
The full platform in your own data center or private cloud, under your operations team.
The complete Totalix platform deployed into your own data center or your private cloud, operated by your team to your own standards and change calendar.
Built for the regions where cloud services are uncommon or not accepted, the industries that mandate on-site control of customer data, and the organizations that simply prefer to run their own estate. The same code base as every other model, so moving to a hosted model later is a migration, not a rebuild.
Best for: regions and industries where cloud is not an option, sovereign and defense environments, and organizations with a strong in-house operations capability.
Side by side.

Questions about deployment.
Which deployment models does Totalix offer?
SaaS, Dedicated Hosted, Partner Hosted and On-Premise — the same four on every edition. Deployment is a choice you make on any edition, never a separate product, and every model runs the same code base.
Does SaaS mean we have to take every update?
Updates on SaaS are continuous and applied with zero downtime: a structured major release every quarter and smaller micro-releases in between. There are no upgrade projects and no versions to fall behind on — which is the point of the model.
What is the difference between SaaS and Dedicated Hosted?
Dedicated Hosted is the SaaS platform on an instance that serves only your organization: the same code base and release cadence, with your data, configuration and compute isolated from every other customer, and the instance placed to meet data-residency commitments. Upstream Works still operates it.
Why would we choose Partner Hosted?
When you want one partner accountable for the whole stack. The partner hosts and operates the platform in their cloud and wraps it with the services only they can add — telephony and carrier services, systems integration, managed service, local-language support and regional compliance — under one contract and one support path.
Can we move between deployment models later?
Yes. Every model runs the same code base, so moving between them — from a hosted model to On-Premise, for example — is a migration rather than a re-implementation. Ask us about the path that fits your timeline.
When is On-Premise available?
January 2027. Request a demo and we will share the timeline and what to prepare.
